To me personally my hair is extremely important. I can almost tell one’s personality and fashion taste by just looking at their hair for afar. I think many people can see that from my hair too, whether consciously or subconsciously. For this simple reason, I spend a lot of time taking care of my hair.
When I go shopping, I love buying hair care products. I hate to say but I am a little bit obsessed with them. I own 8 different hair flat irons, 3 hair dryers and there are always dozens of different hair sprays, lotions in my drawer. Some people may say “I can understand you having many hair sprays, but what is that about the hair straighteners? Don’t you just need one?” Hell no! The reason why I have so many hair irons is because they are different! Probably none of them can claim to be the “best flat iron” around – if you can define what is the “best”, but they have different personalities, err, hair-ironality I’d say.

I don’t know about you, but I am a very active person. When you have a active lifestyle, you need to have the proper “gear” to support it. My hair for example, when I am traveling, I need a small, lightweight and maybe wireless hair flat iron to go with my luggage. The last thing you want is having to carry a 10 pound full featured ceramic hair iron with you and travel thousands of miles from home. When there is a space limit, you should consider taking more essential stuff with you. Not that hair flat iron isn’t essential to me, but if I can get a tiny one that works, why not?
When I am at home, sometimes I may feel a bit lazy. I don’t want to spend half an hour drying my hair before I start straightening it. Yes, I know I have 3 hair dryers. We are allowed some time off even the most fashion obsessed. A wet-to-dry hair iron is coming in real handy for you if you have one. The special designs first make sure you are safe from electric shock. I have not tried it, but some hair irons claim that even if you dip them into the water, it will still work – whoa, amazing stuff isn’t it? Anyway, a wet-to-dry iron safe you time when you feel lazy, but it has a slightly more steep learning curve. It is not easy to master the skill. Also the result may not be as good as a proper straightening – blow dry then use flat irons.
Anyway, the other 6 hair irons all have their specialties. I think they are the best straighteners around. But this is just my personal preference. It really depends on what lifestyle you have, what is your hair type, and the length of you hair. Shop around and maybe invest a little into a couple of hair irons then you will surely find the best hair irons that suit your lifestyle.
